Thank you for your desire to contribute to the defense of Judge Day. As of 01/01/2019 Judge Day has decided to no longer seek donations through the Legal Expense Trust Fund. However, Judge Day continues to incur many legal expenses in his continued battle which now involves the Oregon State Bar. More information may be available in the near future regarding the ability to donate to support Judge Day’s legal fight or the related fights for the liberty of conscience.
This website has been constructed and maintained by the supporters and friends of Vance Day. The contents of this website should not be viewed as a personal solicitation by Judge Vance Day, nor should this website be viewed as using the prestige of Vance Day's office or position for personal advantage of any kind. The Oregon Government Ethics Commission approved Judge Vance Day's application for a Legal Expense Trust Fund on September 3, 2015. This website is designed to inform people and provide a method to contribute to this Legal Expense Trust Fund. Judge Day does not receive any public funds or assistance to defend himself against the allegations filed by the Oregon Commission on Judicial Fitness and Disability; a defense which will likely cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. The Oregon Commission on Judicial Fitness and Disability uses tax payer funds and the power of government process to prosecute judges for ethics violations. Oregon judges must rely on their own resources or the help of friends and supporters to mount a defense. We, the supporters and friends of Judge Vance Day, respectfully ask you to financially support and defend a judge's rights to religious and political speech under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. If we don't defend our republic - we are doomed to lose it.
